It stands in water, 22 kilometer of the north coast of Russia the pipes convey oil from the ocean floors into the hold of a terminal from here it is pumped into one of the three ice-class tankers that are always docked at the platform. the vessels usually transport the cargo to Russia’s largest Arctic port, MURMANSK, from where it is transferred further. This platform has the capacity to load 12 million tonnes of oil a year into tankers. Unfortunately in year 2011, the figure was not even 4 million. However, Pankov keeps his helmet on and says ‘Adversity @ poor profits do not effect the dignity of hiss position’.
